producer
Roger Boleman is director of Media Services Department at University
of Minnesota, Morris. For the past two decades, Boleman has produced
educational and documentary programming specifically for public
television. His producing and director projects include University
of Wisconsin, Minnesota Department of Human Services, Minnesota
Agency on Aging, Minnesota Extension Service and the United States
Department of Agriculture. Mike Cihak • director,
photographer and editor
Mike Cihak is an award-winning media producer
for the University of Minnesota, Morris. He directed and edited
Echoes of Cry of the Marsh and is responsible for all marketing
and publicity. He also is associate producer and director of
the live town hall meeting. Christopher Butler
• writer, researcher and moderator
Chris Butler has a joint appointment teaching writing in department
of English and sociology through GenEdWeb, UMM's online campus.
Prior to UMM, Butler worked as news reporter and director
for KYUK, an NPR affiliate in Alaska, where he hosted a public
affairs shows and read television news for the Alaska Rural
Communication Service.
In addition to his broadcasting work, Butler has varied experience
as a professional writer with three years of grant writing,
and a year of instructional design. He has also co-authored
a book.
